Why Do You Have to Learn Linear Algebra?

I am always learning new things and as I take on more and more things to learn I am constantly forcing myself to first ask “Why is this important?” because obviously if I can’t find a reason clearly and easily enough then I usually won’t go down that path (for the time being). In  my quest to answer this question in regards to Linear Algebra I have found a couple great resources to help answer this for you:

I would add 1 item to the list of resources to learn Linear Algebra (at the top of the list) and that is Gilbert Sprang’s course 18.06sc on ocw.mit.edu
